
American actress Elizabeth Chase Olsen, born on the 16th of February, 1989, is Elizabeth Chase Olsen. Olsen was born in Sherman Oaks, California. She began acting when she was four years old. She made her debut film part in the thriller Martha Marcy May Marlene in 2011 for which she was highly acclaimed and was nominated for a Critics' Choice Movie Award among other accolades, then she was cast in the film horror Silent House. Olsen was nominated for a BAFTA Rising Star Award and she received her degree from New York University two year later. Olsen received worldwide recognition for her portrayal of Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe media franchise which includes the superhero films Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Avengers: Endgame (2019) and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022), as well as the miniseries WandaVision (2021). The actress was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award as well as winning a Golden Globe Award for her performance in WandaVision. She was co-producer and lead actor in Sorry for Your Loss (2018), which earned her a Critics' Choice Television Award nomination acting as widow.
